I have a softer and more feminine card today made with the May My Paper Pumpkin kit.
I used the sketch challenge from Create with Connie and Mary to start this card off like the one I shared yesterday.
The inspiration sketch.
For this card I started with a Pink Pirouette card base and ran it through my Big Shot with the dots embossing folder. Then I used a returning color Blushing Bride, and did the direct-to-paper technique by rubbing the ink pad across the front of the card base. I inked up the edges just a little bit more to give it a more distressed and softer look.
Then I layered the two flag panels (kit dsp), added the stickers from the kit, tied some white bakers twine into a small bow and finished the card off with pearls.
I absolutely loved playing with this CAS sketch! It is definitely a style I tend to gravitate to and I loved how easy the Paper Pumpkin kit was to work with in conjunction with this sketch.
Tomorrow I have another scrapbook page to share that was made with the kit!
