Lacy and Lovely Thanks

One of my new favorite sets has to be Lacy and Lovely! I have a few cards to share with you this week featuring this pretty set!

I first noticed this set because of the gorgeous font on the sentiments and quickly grew to love the stamps and now can’t stop using them on everything!

This was a really quick and easy one layer card with just stamps, ink, and one tiny embellishment but I love the simplicity! I made these for some of the girls I stamp with to say thanks for attending my first open house and ordering and I think they liked them. :) 

I started with a Tempting Turquoise base and layered a Whisper White piece of cardstock on the left side of the card. I stamped with Melon Mambo, Tempting Turquoise and Perfect Plum, along with the sentiment in Basic Black. The rhinestone after the sentiment adds a little bit of bling and stays with the simplistic theme.

Here’s a peak at the set, it’s is gorgeous?!

Merry Christmas with Easy Events

Today is the last day of  sharing projects with the Easy Events stamp set and although Christmas is super far away, it’s never too early to start working on those Christmas cards!

This card was super easy to make with just three colors, but not your traditional bright red and green. I went with Cherry Cobbler and Old Olive combined with Very Vanilla. It’s a softer color palette but still has that Christmas punch! The holly was stamped in green on the vanilla panel, and a bit of cobbler seam binding was tied around the whole card. The leaves were cut with the big shot, layered on the based, and then covered by the stamped panel. The berries were given a bit of sparkle with Cherry Cobbler dazzling details.

That wraps up the cards I used from this set, but there are so many other options and three stamps I didn’t use this week. It’s a great start for your stamping collection if you are just starting out!

Woodgrain Hello

This week I’m sharing cards that were created with the Easy Events stamp set and today it’s a cute hello with an adorable cuckoo clock!

I combined the stamp with the Woodgrain background to mimic the hard wood of the clock.The dark colors and linen thread also compliment the look and finish it off.
I love that you can combine any of these stamps in Easy Events with other backgrounds or different sets to create totally different looks!

Happy Birthday

Today I’m sharing a birthday card created with the Easy Events stamp set!

This is a bright and happy card using Tempting Turquoise, Melon Mambo and Daffodil. The cupcake and sentiment was heat embossed in white, and the happy birthday was also stamped in turquoise on the white strip.

This stamp set has allowed me to create a birthday card, a belated birthday card and a love card. I have two more cards to share this week, but that still gives me three more stamps in this set I haven’t shown yet! It’s such a great set to have!

Sorry I’m Late

This week I’m sharing cards that were created with the Easy Events stamp set!
This little snail is super cute for sending a little birthday wish even if it was past their special day.

This is a mini 3x3 card and is only one layer with Bashful Blue and White. The stamp was colored in with blender pens, but the fun detail is the Crystal Effects behind the snail creating a little trail.

Sending You Love

This week I’m sharing cards that were created with the Easy Events stamp set!
This card is a CASE, but I cannot find the link as I’m working on this post. If I find it I’ll be sure to share it!

It started off with a Cherry Cobbler base and a Crumb Cake layer topped with Whisper White. I used the paper piercing pack to pierce the heart outline, then stamped the tree and colored it in with blender pens. The sentiment was stamped in Cherry Cobbler ink and I punched a heart out with the Owl Builder punch. After it was adhered to the tree I added Cherry Cobbler dazzling details to give it some sparkle. Last I tied some Cherry Cobbler bakers twine around the card.

I love how much this set adds to my stamping collection with just one stamp set. The sentiments come attached to the stamp, but I simply cut them apart to allow placement in other areas. This set is so versatile and covers so many holidays and occasions!

Easter Basket for Easter Wishes

Today is my last project featuring the A Little Bit of Spring stamp set with a cute mini basket! If you want to have this set to call your very own, you can place an order on my website anytime. For the project today I created a simple basket you could fill a few Easter eggs in! The basket was stamped with the Starburst wheel in Rose Red ink onto Pink Pirouette card stock.

The tag was made by taking a piece of 1.5 x 3 in folded in half to make the tag base and then the pink added on top. White bakers twine secures the tag to the handle.

The box is made by cutting cardstock into a 6 3/4 x 6 3/4 in square. Score all edges at 4 1/4 all the way around the edges. You’ll end up with your large square that has nine scored squares. Cut two slits on each end down to the center score. You’ll fold those edges up and then hole punch, securing the flaps with a brad.
