Blogs for Boobies!

I am so, so excited you’re visiting today! Whether you came from the Skipping Stones Design Blog or visited another way, I have one of the best surprises in store for you!

Welcome to Day 7 of Blogs 4 Boobies!

Skipping Stones Design has organized a silent auction to raise money for Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Research.

Over 60 talented designers have created cards to be auctioned off to the highest bidder and will be showcased for 7 fantastic days.  All proceeds from this auction will be donated to the Komen Foundation.

WHY?

Before I share the details for my cards and auction instructions, I wanted to share WHY I’m passionate about this cause.

My cousin Mel was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2013. She was also 11 weeks pregnant with her third child. With humor, wit and grace Mel kept us updated on her journey through her appropriately named FaceBook page I Got Breast Cancer Ain't Nobody Got Time For That

Mel underwent double mastectomy surgery and chemo prior to Fletcher’s arrival via c-section. She’s not out of the woods yet unfortunately, after learning her cancer came back in December, but I’m hopeful that she and many others will beat this.

HOW YOU CAN HELP!

There are three ways that you can help, and join in on the fun(draising)!

First, you can help by bidding in the silent auction! All the details are below for bidding and winning.

For the silent auction, I have 16 cards up for bid! These are all cards I’ve made this past year while on the SSD DT, and the highest bidder will have all 16 cards wrapped up and sent to them!

B4B Card Set 1

There are a variety of thank you, birthday, encouragement and blank cards in this collection!

Bid details

Leave a comment on this post with your bid amount. We recommend a starting bid of $5 or more. Your bid not only includes the card or project but shipping to your home as well. Please note IF you want to bid, and live outside the U.S. we would request that you pay the difference of shipping charges between where you live and what it would cost to ship within the US.

If you are the highest bidder 7 days after the first post date 8:00 p.m. mountain time (June 14th) then you WIN the card/project that you bid on. Be sure to check back throughout the week if you’ve been outbid!

The winning bidder will receive a Paypal invoice from Skipping Stones Designs aka Heather Engebretson and she will collect the money, all of which will be donated on July 1, 2016 to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.

Once the winning bidder pays via PayPal  and I receive notice from Skipping Stones Design, I will ship your card set  to you.
