Cruisin’ 2015

Well, it has been quite awhile since I’ve blogged.

What can I say, it’s been a busy 6 months! Between work, kids (school/sports, etc.) and all the other life stuff I found my posting less frequent. Or really, nonexistent. ;)

We were in need of some R&R with how busy we have been.  Last October, Jake and I talked about taking the kids on a cruise. We had done one together in 2012, and always talked about doing a family one. We knew the kids would have a blast!

We booked our cruise in April and set said on May 23rd (Saturday) for a 7 day Eastern Caribbean Cruise! The kids got out of school on the 21st, so we took a red eye out that night, spent a day with my family in Florida and then headed to Port Canaveral to set sail on Saturday.

We visited the amazingly beautiful Nassau (Bahamas), St. Thomas, San Juan (Puerto Rico) and Grand Turk. We played with dolphins, snorkeled with sea turtles, explored historic Old San Juan and swam with sting rays. It was quite the trip, full of incredible experiences!

I’m going through our photos now, and I’ll share the photo album links when I’m finished, but here’s a teaser of a few favorites!

We’re getting ready to leave my mom and dad’s in just a couple hours to head to the airport and home. It has been so nice to spend time with family and relax!
