When Sports Collide

Jake and I always joke that we stopped at two kids because we didn’t want them to outnumber us, the adults/parents. While it’s great for a laugh, we’re also finding this was a great decision because having two active kids in sports means Jake and I do the '”divide and conquer” route when their spots overlap. Ha. ;)

Tomorrow Gwynie has two games in the morning (at 9:30 and 11) and then Brady has a football game at 12. It’s not the first time we’ve split for wrestling/softball or football/softball, and we know it probably won’t be the last time.

Anyway, since we have more “ball” going on tomorrow (and thank goodness they are at the same complex tomorrow!!), I thought I would share some softball pics from this Summer and some football pics from the scrimmage game the boys had Wednesday night.

DSC_0972 This year Brady is QB! He has been making great reads and is growing week by week as Quarterback! We’re so excited to see how he leads the team this year and on this play he made the read option to run the ball. Way to gain 30 yards buddy! Go #20!!

DSC_0982 Now, this pic you can’t really see Brady behind #53, but Brady made the perfect pitch to Jordan, and Jordan scored a run! Way to go boys!

I haven’t shared hardly any softball  pics and here’s why…the fences block my shots! During one game there were short fences so I managed to get a few pictures! The girls have amazing uniforms in their first pick uni’s, and these are their second pick ones during games. Still cool but they love their other ones even more! ;)

We’re in for another crazy and wild ride over the next couple months as we tackle football and Fall softball, but we’ll manage as we always do. ;)
