Fall Scrapbook Pages

I still have some Halloween pages to post, but thought a Fall page around the end of November might be nice to share.

I used an older stamp set to stamp the background and mixed in a new paper pack from the Sweater Weather DSP.

Fall Page 1 Fall Page 2 A few touches of ribbons, buttons and brads added a little visual interest.

Here are the two pages together side by side. I did one set for Brady and one set for Gwynie.

Thankful Scrapbook Pages

Although I realized I took these pics before I put the “thankful” title on the page, I wanted to share these before I forget. You’ll just have to image a thankful title on the side of the page. ;)

Thankful Brady

 Thankful Gwynie

For each page I used Early Espresso Core’dinations cardstock, sanded the front, and layered some pieces of Sweater Weather DSP on the front. They are accented with some paper leaves, a button and bakers twine in addition to a strip of pool party ribbon. It’s always fun to go back and scrapbook some older pictures, these were 2010 and crazy to think the kids have grown so much since then!

Thankful

I have a simple and a bit elegant card to share today. I’m a pretty fortunate girl and have a pretty great life. :) I’m thankful on most days, and on a day like today where we give our thanks it’s even more special to be appreciative of our blessings in life.

Leafy Thanks

I might be a little obsessed with the Silver Glimmer Paper from Stampin’ Up! and the new color Smoky Slate. Paired together, these make me so happy! Check it -

Leafy Thanks

There’s a few different elements on this card that I just love besides the glimmer paper and the gray card base! The ruffled ribbon, the simple background border and the pop of green from the leaf. Just a happy little card and one to add to my stash. :)

Supplies:

CS: Smoky Slate, Whisper White, Basic Black, Silver Glimmer Paper

Ink: Smoky Slate, Pear Pizzaz, Basic Black

Stamp: Woodgrain, Mosiac Madness (border), Secret Garden (leaf), Lovely Little Labels (sentiment)

Misc: Strawberry Slush ruffle trim, rhinestone basic jewel

It’s All Really Good

This isn’t exactly a manly/boyish card, but since it has boyish colors I went with it and gave this to a friends son for his birthday.

All Really good

The background was created with toilet paper rolls and paint, and I stamped the sentiment in paint as well. It’s fun to mix up techniques and try something new once in a while!

Supplies:

CS: Bermuda Bay, Island Indigo, Silver Glimmer paper, Whisper White

Ink: Basic Black

Stamps: Really Good Greetings

Misc: Paint, Old Olive taffeta ribbon, rhinestone basic jewels

Scripted Happy Birthday

My friend Sharon still hasn’t received this card although I’ve seen her a handful of times since her birthday in August. Sharon, I’ll get this to you eventually, but at least you can see it here today. :)

Scripted Happy Birthday Sharon loves bright colors but I wanted to make her a sweet and dainty card. Sharon got me into stamping so I wanted to make a special card for her. I did some heat embossing onto vellum and on the flowers used a dauber to add color from an ink pad, I just love this technique!

Happy birthday friend, sorry I’m such a slacker. But I know you love me anyway.

Supplies

CS: Pistachio Pudding, Neutrals White, Smoky Slate, Vellum

Ink: VersaMark, Basic Gray, Blushing Bride

Stamps: En Francis background, Remembering Your Birthday (sentiment), Papillon Potpourri, Secret Garden

Misc: Secret Garden framelits, Vintage faceted designer button, white bakers twine,  Delicate Doilies Sizzlits, Doily, White embossing powder, sequins

Birthday Sprinkles

I have been the ultimate slacker when it comes to posting on the blog. We wrapped up football and headed straight into wrestling season. The kids are busy, we’re busy and sometimes we all have to just take a breath and make sure to hang out with each other in those moments we do have some downtime. So needless to say the blog was put on the back burner. ;)
I do have some projects to share and mostly birthday cards and scrapbook pages! Today, I’m sharing a card that was for my friend Mel and her (3rd) 30th birthday. ;)

I wanted to incorporate lots of layers and tons of fun and pretty girly things. Everything on this card is Stampin’ Up, I love when I can coordinate all my supplies onto one pretty card! BTW – I swear the melon mambo and slush look better together in person than this photo represents. ;)
Supplies:
CS: Strawberry Slush, Melon Mambo, night of Navy, Smoky Slate, Whisper White, Silver glimmer paper, Vellum
Ink: Strawberry Slush, Smoky Slate, Basic Black
Stamp: Remembering Your Birthday (sentiment), Oh Hello (chevron background)
Misc: Itty Bitty butterfly punch, Delicate Doilies Sizzlit, Big Shot, Doily, Antique brad, rhinestone basic jewels
