For Real

For Real! I say this all the time so I loved that it was on a sticker in the May Paper Pumpkin kit!

I have one final card with the kit to share today, but I seriously have so much leftover that I could easily create a few more scrapbook pages and several cards. I love it!

For Real

This card is so vibrant, I looove it! The base is a new In Color, Coastal Cabana. I desperately want a tropical vacation after playing with all the new dreamy In Colors! :)

After layering on some of the patterned paper, I stamped some arrows in Coastal Cabana using the Designer Typeset Photopolymer stamp set. Then the stickers from the kit were added, and to finish it off I gave it a brad and pierced the corner in a pattern with my paper piercer.

I think this could be a fun card to thank someone for a great gift! “I love this for real” is a great line to say to someone! :)

Hey There Friend

This week I’m sharing projects created with the May My Paper Pumpkin kit and today the card I created also carries the stamps from the Welcome kit.

Hey There Friend

For this card I started with a white card base, and used the Stampin’ Spritzer with Pool Party reinker to spray the base. The gray splatters, in the new Smoky Slate color, were stamped with the splatter stamp from the welcome kit. I then layered on the patterned paper, added the polaroid frame, and then the flag stickers. The sentiment is from the welcome kit and was stamped inside the frame. Washi tape (Epic Day) and a silver brad finished it off!

Once again I am loving the clean and graphic look with this kit! It’s been fun seeing all of the different things I could make with this kit, and I have one final card tomorrow that showcases this kit.

The Good Life

This week I’m sharing projects created with the May My Paper Pumpkin kit. If you missed out make sure to go back and see what’s already been shared! Today I have another scrapbook page and almost everything is from the kit.

Good Times This was a really quick and easy page to put together! I used several scrap pieces from the kit to layer around the photos, and also stamped the two images that came in the kid (the good life and the arrow with love this). The only things not in the kit were the base, brads and washi tape.

The journaling is about how Jake and the coaches got the cheerleaders to sing to Brady for his birthday as it fell the same night as a duel. Although the pics with his medal were technically on another night, I thought these fit together for a full layout.

And just a few close-ups of the page with all those fun scraps and stickers!

Special Event

I have a softer and more feminine card today made with the May My Paper Pumpkin kit.

I used the sketch challenge from Create with Connie and Mary to start this card off like the one I shared yesterday.

The inspiration sketch.

Special Event For this card I started with a Pink Pirouette card base and ran it through my Big Shot with the dots embossing folder. Then I used a returning color Blushing Bride, and did the direct-to-paper technique by rubbing the ink pad across the front of the card base. I inked up the edges just a little bit more to give it a more distressed and softer look.

Then I layered the two flag panels (kit dsp), added the stickers from the kit, tied some white bakers twine into a small bow and finished the card off with pearls.

I absolutely loved playing with this CAS sketch! It is definitely a style I tend to gravitate to and I loved how easy the Paper Pumpkin kit was to work with in conjunction with this sketch.

Tomorrow I have another scrapbook page to share that was made with the kit!

Hello

Here’s another card made with the May My Paper Pumpkin kit!

I used the sketch challenge from Create with Connie and Mary to start this card off.

This is the sketch given, I love how the panel in the background shows through!

 Hello

I started off with a new color coming out this year called Smoky Slate for the base. Two of the papers included in the MPP made the flag panels, along with the polaroid and hello sticker that were also in the kit. A little Epic Day washi tape and brad accented the hello sentiment sticker, and for some detail I used the splatter stamp from the MPP Welcome kit in Smoky Slate ink. You’ll get that awesome splatter in your first kit no matter when you sign up!

Stay tuned for one more card using this sketch, and more projects using the Paper Pumpkin kit!
