Artisan Entry Blog Hop – Day 10

  ArtisanEntryBlogHopHeader

It’s Day 10 of the Artisan Entry Blog Hop – the last day! A big shout out to all the talented ladies that have been involved to the hop! I also want to thank all of you that have visited and for the super sweet comments that have been left. Thank you all so much!

If you came from Laura's blog you're in the right place, and if you’re just stopping by today make sure to scroll to the bottom for the full hop list so you can see all of the projects shared!

So today is my other 3D project. This one took forever to make…I had such a hard time with it all…3D is so not my forte!

The idea with this 3D project was to make a Get Well gift!

Get Well Kit

Included is a hand sanitizer bottle, can of soup and tissue box, all decorated and ready to give to a sick friend! As you can see this is a spin on the saying “Caught a Bug” and there are lots of little bugs all over the items!

Get Well 1

First up, the soup can! I took a regular can of soup, covered it with cardstock, and then used punches to create a top, along with a little ladybug. Each bug you’ll see has little wires from the bug to end with mini hearts for the antennae.

Get Well 2

I adhered the label with dimensionals and sticky strip and the ribbon goes around the can, and then through the label on the front. On each end of the label is a punch from the Modern Label punch and the ribbon goes through that to tie in front.

Get Well 3 The hand sanitizer bottle was quick and easy! I punched circles to stick to the back which you can kind of see behind it, along with ribbon and a punched and stamped tag.

Get Well 4

The cool part though (I think) is the window sheet I stamped in Stazon and then rolled up and put in the bottle. Just a fun touch to get more of the bugs into this part of the project.

Get Well 5

Last, is the covered tissue box! Side 1. I used  this tutorial to cut and create the box. Each side is covered with the white cardstock that was stamped with rows upon rows of bugs and then a different little 3D bug sticks to each side with heart antennae.

 Get Well 6

Side 2.  This snail was fun to make because it started from the Owl Builder punch! Yes! That is the top of the owl with the feet cut off and a circle placed over the middle!

Get Well 7

Side 3. The caterpillar was just a bunch of circles, but I like having him super long.

Get Well 8

This random little bug is made up from the Bird punch! You can see the bird bodies in the orange cardstock, notice how the beaks make the point at the top?

Alright so those are ALL of my Artisan Entry projects! Convention starts on Thursday and the Awards Night is Friday. I’m so excited to see the projects from the finalists and cheer them on to see who is an overall winner! Thanks again for stopping by! :)
